News Selection
TickerRead scans recent public news for each tracked ticker. The default publication window is the latest 24 hours. A post is normally published only when at least two independent sources support the same concrete ticker-specific event.
Accepted Catalysts
- Earnings, guidance, or business updates.
- Analyst rating changes, price target updates, or institutional research notes.
- Contracts, partnerships, acquisitions, customer wins, or product launches.
- Executive changes, insider transactions, legal matters, regulatory developments, or financing events.
Rejected Items
- Generic market movement with no company-specific catalyst.
- Listicles, rankings, or broad roundup articles where the ticker is only mentioned in passing.
- Single-source stories that cannot be corroborated by another relevant source.
- Low-value rewritten news, spammy headlines, or scraped content.
AI-Assisted Workflow
AI tools help judge whether a source set is publishable and help draft the final brief. The workflow is designed to be conservative: if the sources do not agree on a real catalyst, the post should not be published. TickerRead articles should include outbound source links and a clear disclaimer.
Limitations
Financial news changes quickly. Prices, analyst targets, and company facts can become outdated. Readers should verify current information from primary filings, company releases, broker research, and market data providers before making any decision.
